Ryan Casey (born 3 January 1979) is an Irish footballer with Longford Town where he plays as defender. He signed for the club in February 2008 from Athlone Town. He has also played for Galway United, St Patrick's Athletic and Swansea City. Ryan was a member of Brian Kerr's Ireland under-18 squad which won the European Championships in 1998 [1].
Casey made his debut for Longford Town in their 5-1 victory over Sporting Fingal on 8 March 2008. He works as a Football Development Officer for the Football Association of Ireland and is based in the Sligo region.
